7 FACTS ABOUT ME
i went into Happy Cup and one of her blog entries was basically 7(useless) facts about the blogger..and its kinda pass from blog to blog...so since i havent been baking/updating my blog..umm heres another entry to replace an otherwise cupcake entry.
1) Im libra..if u believe in horoscopes..i am mostly what libra girls are about...extremely vain and have a love for all things romantic/beautiful/soft.. eager to please and get out of any conflicts but extremely selfish and loves procrastinating.
2) I sleep very little...on an average...i sleep at 4am and wake up at 8am everyday... partially because of my schoolwork and schedules and well i'm just used to sleeping so late!!
3)Pior to studying fashion design...i took biz mgt in NYP...i worked in a office and couldnt stand live beening so mundane for the rest of my life....i tried being in travel agent and travelled in asia...bakery and now fashion!
4) If i didnt follow any of my 3 main passions in life...i'd probably study a degree in finance and try my best to be in the finance industry.
5) First love by Utada Hikaru is my all time favorite song...no matter how many years ago. It also happens to be the first song i learn to play on the piano...through listening. Utada's "final Distance" MV is very strange beauty to me.
6)i hate insects alot...any kind!! but i hate praying mantis the most! and i'm always getting "attack" by them...i hate them!!! and all other insects!
7) i like to read BLEACH manga and i follow the anime series. I like illustrations and i enjoy seeing different types of illustrations...i draw illustrations myself as part of my fashion work.

helo
I havent been baking for sales recently but from time to time i do make desserts for my family.
Last weekend i went over to my aunt's house to stay for some "me" time, R&R or wateva u call it... I made this simple yet really good dessert for the family. I saw it on nigella once.. yup so i figured i make it..
I made for them essentially berries with whipped cream and meringue. Sorrie if it doesnt look great on the picture..i only quickly took it with a cam phone before it got stolen!!
Anyone can do it...especially if u are cooking a 7 course meal and u need something tat looks presentable and good yet takes VERY LITTLE TIME TO PREPARE....
Ingredients: Makes for 10 people (approx)
1L whipping cream
3 packs of berries of ur choice
(blueberries/ raspberries/blackberries/strawberries)
2 tablespoon of blackberry liquer/rum/any berry liquer or ur personal fav.
1 meringue (from gastronomia)
approx the size of ur whole entire hand
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-In a small bowl, pour half packet of blackberries and raspberries respectively into a bowl.
- Pour in 2 tablespoons of liquer/rum/personal choice...add more if desired.
- mash the berries into the liquer, soaking it up. It should be lumpy bits..dont over mash.
- Whip cream in another bowl until soft peaks form.
- Combine/ pour berries mix and crush 2/3 meringue into small bits and powder into whipped cream
- Stir well until evenly blended.
- Find 10 nice serving classes and gently plop the whipped cream into glasses.
- Decorate with berries and crush reminding meringue on top for dusting.
** Strawberries/blueberries should only be decoration berries, Raspberries/blackberries are reccomended for mixing in the whipped cream instead.
** you may prepare the whipped cream ahead of time and chill it. only decorate with berries and meringue right before serving

Double chocolate Sin.
Lemon cheesecake
Its been awhile since I last blog. As usual as the term gets more advance, it becomes harder for me to take time to experiment. Well the 1 week break is here and i've got time to bake some stuff.
Actually this is my first time baking a cheesecake so its alittle crappy haha..i think i should have put more jelly topping... hmm.. and my aunt insisted she had to decordate the strawberries...no bad huh haha..
Lemon Cheesecake with strawberries.
I experimented with a cornflake crust instead of the usual biscuit crust and the lemon cheesecake..if u like sour or yoghurt taste then u will like this. Thankfully the combination of sweet cornflake crust and sweet strawberry toppings made a good balance for this cake.
I also i like it cos its not the heavy base type..like secret recipe..this cake is light and frothy soft. more towards japanese style but not completely. If u are interested to try this recipe..email and i'll send u a copy :)
See you soon!!
