Mid night cravings have left me mad for chocolate (not to mention the monthly business)

Therefore fast approaching midnight...i risk the fact that i may as well gain 2kgs from this...I BAKED A CHOCOLATE CAKE FOR MYSELF!!

Oui! Merci!

I like the outcome of the cake...dark and moist inside...with a layer of raspberry jam...and choclate buttercream! The cake deco..well not much thought was put into it..but it look damn cute....its a waysided cake..but who cares if the goal is to swallow it asap!

I havent been baking recently but right now i have this thing for meringues and pavlovas...so today i made a pavlova with different type of berries. enjoy!



First the base:

Then pipe the support out.

Then bake in the oven for like 40 to 50mins

The outcome is like this...!

I love the lovely peaks..

Fill with cream and fruits!!!

7 FACTS ABOUT ME

i went into Happy Cup and one of her blog entries was basically 7(useless) facts about the blogger..and its kinda pass from blog to blog...so since i havent been baking/updating my blog..umm heres another entry to replace an otherwise cupcake entry.

1) Im libra..if u believe in horoscopes..i am mostly what libra girls are about...extremely vain and have a love for all things romantic/beautiful/soft.. eager to please and get out of any conflicts but extremely selfish and loves procrastinating.

2) I sleep very little...on an average...i sleep at 4am and wake up at 8am everyday... partially because of my schoolwork and schedules and well i'm just used to sleeping so late!!

3)Pior to studying fashion design...i took biz mgt in NYP...i worked in a office and couldnt stand live beening so mundane for the rest of my life....i tried being in travel agent and travelled in asia...bakery and now fashion!

4) If i didnt follow any of my 3 main passions in life...i'd probably study a degree in finance and try my best to be in the finance industry.

5) First love by Utada Hikaru is my all time favorite song...no matter how many years ago. It also happens to be the first song i learn to play on the piano...through listening. Utada's "final Distance" MV is very strange beauty to me.

6)i hate insects alot...any kind!! but i hate praying mantis the most! and i'm always getting "attack" by them...i hate them!!! and all other insects!

7) i like to read BLEACH manga and i follow the anime series. I like illustrations and i enjoy seeing different types of illustrations...i draw illustrations myself as part of my fashion work.

Baileys mania

I went to Hong Kong somewhere at the end of September..when i came back i bought baileys for my sisters... then we were doing all sorts of stuff..adding baileys to coffee...icecream...ice cold chocolate etc...

So yesterday night we decided to make chocolate cupcakes drench in baileys!!

This was all done...late in the night...it was kinda a last min...craving kinda thing.. easy to do.. we were all semi drunk by the time it was done anyway. lol...
its really simple just bake chocolate cupcakes then pour the baileys in (2 tablespoon per cupcake) or more if u are an alcoholic! (like me and mysisters)

This time i didnt add buttercream or anything..just cos i sometimes like my cupcakes plain..so really you could just call them muffins. but u still could top it with buttercream, icing or a huge choc coated marshmellow from jones the grocer haha!
