Chocolate Gananche
Hi there girls...
New Years tmr!! what resolution have u made?
I've made mine already. My new year's resolution is to improve my fashion knowledge and creativity. Cos i was thinking...i'm really so out of touch with the fashion world!!!...More nonsense about me in my personal blog
So hopefully...i'll make true to that.
Anyway...heres the reciepe to the Chocolate Ganache...ITS SOOOO SIMPLE.
200g Chocolate (semi sweet or dark), Chopped
200ml Thicken cream
- Place everything into a heavy dbl boiler pot and melt over low heat. stir until chocolate is smooth
- Take away from heat and let it cool in the fridge or freezer
(May take up to 2 to 3 hours to get the ganache glaze consistancy)
- Remove from fridge and stir ur ganache first...then ice onto cake/cookie
(Caution: Make sure ur cake/cookies are completely cooled before icing~!!)
The thing about chocolate ganache is that...as long as u have a 1:1 ration of cream/chocolate u can make ganache..if u want it to be alittle stiffer or thicker then add alittle more chocolate and vice versa.
Always constantly stir ur chocolate when melting if not it'll burn at the bottom...and yeah ganaches are great for icing any cakes/cookies/savory dishes..wat have u not...
