I'm back from Italy last week and italy is a great sightseeing place! i went to venice+lido+burano and also Rome!! how can we miss rome?
The sights were breaktaking to see old Rome...you really need to be there, no pictures could ever show u the beauty of rome!!
BBBUUTT!!
Pictures of GELATO is EVERYWHERE!! haha well i mean Gelato is everywhere and we tried as often as we can and we've been taking pictures non stop of our gelatos!! half dripping and collapsing!!
Plus gelato is alot cheaper here than anywhere else in europe...like france is about 2.50 to 3 for a miserly Small single scoop.. where as in italy they just slab it on!!
I'll list 2 of my favorite Gelato (however pictures of only 1 shop sorry!):
In Italy they have a myraid of flavors that i cant even understand the name...ranging from sweet caramels, liquer, cake flavors and different nuts and berrie combinations and different fruit sorbets!! the choices are endless and all the flavors are yummy!!
My favorite however is Pistachio and Morello cherries and mostly thats all i've been eating (My fren eats every other flavor in the sun and i just try!)
Their yummy tarts!!
Italian desserts!!
Ti amo Italy!
Italian desserts!!
Me is DAMN lucky girl.
This ice cream cost about 2.50 (2 flav) to 5 euros (3 flav + deco)
Ok if u like the icecream shop above you can find it at:
Bar-Gelateria
Via Di Propaganda
Roma, Italy
If youre wondering...its near the Famous Spanish steps near a roundabout with a huge tall pillar, Find that(near the spanish steps) and look around for the road..you'll find it!!
Next!! Me and Dawn have decided its the best among all the stores we've tried!!
Its actually along the walls of the vatican city
I didnt take down the name but its near the open square called: pizza risorgimento and if i had to guess the road is called
Via del bastionni de michelangelo
Roma, Italy
Heres 5 reasons why u should go and try:
1) The gelato taste damn good!!
2) they serve it with a huge dollop of whipped cream
3) its only 1.50 euros for the same size as the other gelato!!!
4) handsome italian men serving u and call you "bella"
5) its near the vatican city...gelato cant get any more blissful than this ;)
i think one of the angels is holding a gelato.
I've tried a couple of pizzas in Italy and i have to say that i've gotten afew bad experiences. Venice had the worst pizzas around but i should have seen it coming since it was made by a CHINESE...lol sianz

Next was at a authentic italian restaurant with curious waiters looking and flirting with us non stop...thin crust..HUGGGEE but i didnt like it.
The next was my last and final stop..i discovered on my way to Fountana de trevi (the most famous fountain in europe) And it taste awesome...esp if you like thick crust!!
My happy italian waiter!
Pizza in Trevi
Via di San Vincenzo 30-30A
Roma Italy

You know its good when locals are eating there too. They sell by weight and different pizza has different pricing. but its approx 4 euros per slice (which is about 2 slices sg standard)
You must try!!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Ok if You like cakes and cupcakes its surely because they are cute and colorful so although the next few set of pictures arent about food nor cupcakes it'll still be interesting :)
When in venice we strayed into another island nearby called :
Burano
Burano
This island is unique in the way that every house is painted in bright colors each to complement the neighbouring house setting off a rainbow island.
Its very quaint, quiet and hardly any tourist...mostly locals getaway here.
The food here is also alot better, they sell interesting local pasteries(sorry i didnt take) that you wont find down south in Rome or any major cities.
Its REAL ITALIAN local pasteries..like chocolate salami and some cornetto chocolate stuff. Different nougats and confectioneries.
Vaporetto NL (or LN cant remember) from San marco polo!
or alternatively take a boat to Lido island, they have more boats going to burano there.
Also i advise you to buy a full day pass instead of a single ticket cos transport in venice is very expensive!!
